What type of Intermittent Faster Are You?

 

One day, you eat as much as you want and whatever you want, the next day you fast.

Intermittent fasting is a broad category, which is then broken up into three usual different types.

So, one form of intermittent fasting is alternate-day fasting. So, one day you eat as much as you want and whatever you want, the next day you fast and are only drinking black tea, water, or coffee, or some combination of those.

So that’s one.

Number two was a 5:2 fast, where for five days a week you’re eating, again, whatever you want, however much you want, no limits on what, when, or how you’re eating. But for two days a week you’re, again, fasting for a complete two days. That can be two days consecutively.

The third is the time-restricted eating or time-restricted feeding is what they’re calling it.

And again, know that there’s a million ways to do this.

Normally it’s ranging anywhere from a four to eight to ten hour, twelve hours it’s tough to say that that’s a true fast, but you know, anywhere from a four to twelve hour eating window.

Outside of that, you don’t consume any calories except through water or possibly coffee.
